More upsetting news for General Hospital. Kim Delaney, who in 2020 replaced Demi Moore as reporter Jackie Templeton, is being sued for allegedly rear-ending a motorcyclist in the fall of 2022, TMZ reports.
According to the website, the plaintiff claims that witnesses saw the NYPD Blue alum driving erratically before the crash occurred. And after? He says that Delaney tried to flee the scene but was stopped by bystanders.
When ultimately she got out of her car, he says that she appeared disoriented as she made a phone call to someone that he alleges offered to pay him off not to contact the police.

The suit goes on to allege that eventually Delaney, under instructions from the person she phoned, left the scene. Further, TMZ reports that a criminal case has been opened against the daytime vet; she is charged with hit-and-run and is due in court the week of January 29.
There was some question as to whether Chase was Gregory’s son… or Finn’s.

Before her stint as Gregory’s ex and Chase’s mom on General Hospital, Delaney was already a household name to soap fans, owing to her very first role, that of ill-fated Jenny Gardner on All My Children in the early 1980s. She has gone on to star in such primetime series as Tour of Duty, Army Wives and Philly.
