On May 22, Janelle Brown, star of Sister Wives, shared details about a wonderful day celebrating her son Logan Brown, who has grown into a remarkable young man, much to the delight of TLC fans. Logan, a fan favorite, has been somewhat elusive since leaving for college, but whenever his mother Janelle visits him and his wife Michelle, she shares glimpses of their life, making fans happy.
Logan’s birthday was a significant milestone, and Janelle marked the occasion by posting a series of photos on Instagram. The images showcased Logan and Michelle enjoying each other’s company, along with some cherished memories from Logan’s childhood. Celebrating his 30th birthday, Janelle expressed her pride in her son, stating, “Logan, happy birthday on your 30th! What a significant achievement. I’m incredibly proud of the man you’ve grown into. Being your mother is an honor.” Fans joined in, leaving their warm wishes and compliments in the comments.
Logan’s relationship with his mother and family is clearly strong. TLC viewers fondly remember Logan as a responsible young man who always looked out for his younger siblings. This sense of responsibility and support has only strengthened over the years, evidenced by his and Michelle’s touching tribute to his younger brother Garrison Brown, who recently passed away.
Amidst all this joy, there’s a shadow of tension within the Brown family, particularly involving Cody’s current and former wives. Janelle, who split from Cody, is embracing her new life as a single woman, focusing on her family and personal growth. Unlike Christine Brown, who quickly moved on and remarried, Janelle has stated that she is not interested in dating. In a Sister Wives episode aired in October 2023, she made it clear that unless a perfect match crossed her path unmistakably, she is content with her independence.
Janelle and Cody’s relationship, which was never legally binding but spiritually significant, started to deteriorate during the pandemic. Janelle and her children resisted Cody’s stringent rules, leading to a significant rift. By 2022, Janelle was openly considering leaving Cody, mirroring Christine’s earlier decision. She confirmed their breakup on a Sister Wives episode, noting the strain and disconnection that had grown between them.
Despite their separation, Janelle has stated she would consider reuniting with Cody if he underwent significant changes, though she admits this is unlikely. She believes she needs something different from a marriage, preferring independence and self-reliance. In a 2023 Sister Wives episode, she expressed that she doesn’t see any reason to reconcile, highlighting her need for a partnership that respects her independence.
In an August 2023 interview with People, Janelle reiterated her lack of interest in dating, appreciating the freedom that her current life offers. She even mentioned that she might consider polygamy again if it suited her lifestyle, though she is doubtful about how many men could handle such a relationship.
Meanwhile, Christine has remarried David Woolley, and Robyn remains Cody’s only current wife. Mary, another of Cody’s former wives, announced her relationship with Amos Andrews in January 2024. Janelle, observing Christine’s happiness, still feels no urge to seek a similar relationship. She values her independence too much to pursue a new partnership at this stage in her life.
