General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of January 22 hint that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will declare war on Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Nina’s lost Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) thanks to her SEC secret being exposed, and as the old saying goes, a person who has nothing more to lose can be the most dangerous type of person out there.
GH spoilers also note that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will have a proposition of sorts for Nina, very soon.
As she has no friends in the little town, but him – and perhaps Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) – Nina and Valentin will likely either run into each other or she’ll visit him, and he’ll learn her sob SEC story and firing.
He’ll be tempted to help his friend out. Added teasers suggest that the two will also become “partners in crime”.
Valentin has plenty of money, power, and resources, so could it be that he proposes to fund a new fashion magazine for Nina to run?
It won’t be easy to build from the ground up; however, Nina herself mentioned during the Friday, January 19 episode that she saved Crimson from almost going bankrupt, years ago.
She’s got plenty of influence in the media world, and there’s a good chance that with her scheme to build a new fashion and lifestyle magazine, she will snag Crimson’s advertisers and possibly key employees, to leave the magazine hanging by a thread; at least, that’s what her and Valentin’s plan of action will be.
Carly has zero media experience and is in way over her head with this one. She’ll soon learn the error of making business decisions based on revenge.
Still, why would Valentin want to fund a new magazine? What’s in it for him? A lot can happen between now and when he presents the idea to Nina.
Maybe he’s ousted from ELQ? Then again, maybe he is just looking for another investment opportunity, or to simply help Nina out, considering how she put her neck on the line for him during his issues with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).
General Hospital spoilers reveal that a Valentin and Nina reunion may be on the horizon, so working together could push these two closer toward romance. Charlotte will be over the moon if this happens!
