day, focusing on a dinner party. One perspective will follow Rona, Sarah, Zoey, Henry, and Marlon Dingle from the dinner table, while the other will follow Belle, Tom, and James Chase from the
kitchen.
Before the dinner party, Belle sneaks to a doctor’s appointment to organize her contraceptive prescription. Anxious about it, she explains to Manpreet that she doesn’t want it sent to her home like her other medication. Meanwhile, at work, Tom is patronized by Vanessa when he messes up diagnosing an elderly dog. Vanessa steps in and orchestrates the correct tests, revealing it to be an abscess.
Later, Tom returns home furious after his terrible day and informs Belle about the dinner party at their house the following day. When the guests arrive, Belle puts the finishing touches together, but Tom criticizes her outfit choice. As the evening progresses, tension mounts, and guests start to leave following an argument between Rona and Marlon.
