Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has thanked his fans and followers for all of their messages following news of his engagement. It was revealed the actor had popped the question to his long-term girlfriend Hanni Treweek last month.
The couple had been seen enjoying a trip of a lifetime in Tanzania and Jack was regularly updating his social media page with the magnificent animals they had spotted on safari before moving on to Zanzibar, where they were seen soaking up the sun on the beach.
It wasn’t until their incredible trip came to an end that Hanni revealed Jack, who is famed for playing David Platt in ITV’s Corrie, had popped the question.

She took to her Instagram page to share the exciting news, writing: “05.06.24 I said YES to forever!!!” alongside a picture of the loved-up pair and a glimpse at her new sparkler.
Now, the couple have shared a video featuring glimpses of their stunning adventure. It featured clips from their safari, which included seeing the sunrise, as well as enjoying their own cabin with an outdoor log fire. As they moved on to Zanzibar, the couple were seen enjoying sunset dinners by the beach and enjoying their own floating canopy on the water.
The video then ended with Hanni showing off her gorgeous ring to the camera. Alongside the video on Instagram, Hanni wrote: “A holiday of a lifetime. Thank you much to all of you who have shown us so much support & kindness. We [love] you!!!” She added: “We have a wedding to plan!!”

Jack also reshared the video to his own Instagram Story with the same message. Among those to respond to the video was Corrie co-star Samia Longchambon who wrote: “Goosebumps watching this guys.. just wow.” Sally Carman-Duttine replied: “What an experience.”
