We have some incredibly exciting news for fans of The Young and the Restless! Congratulations are in order for Chris McKenna, who played Detective Harding, and his wife Lovesa Jansen, on the birth of their first child. Their baby boy, Spencer J. McKenna, was born on July 26, and he’s absolutely adorable.

Chris McKenna took to social media to share the joyful news, posting a series of four photos and a touching video. The photos capture special moments, including Spencer’s first moments in the hospital, a heartwarming shot of Chris holding his newborn, and a peaceful image of Spencer and Lovesa getting some well-deserved rest. The video shows Chris carefully carrying his son in his car seat, presumably on their way home.

In his post, Chris expressed his admiration for his wife, Lisa, and her incredible role in their new chapter. His former Geno City co-star Greg Reart, who also appeared on Days of Our Lives, celebrated the news with a congratulatory comment.

Earlier this year, Chris announced the impending arrival of baby McKenna with a charming gender reveal video. In May, he thanked everyone for their support during the baby shower, highlighting how wonderful the event was.

Although Chris McKenna, known for his role as Joey Binen on One Life to Live, moved away from daytime television following his stint on The Young and the Restless and a brief role on The Bold and the Beautiful as Dr. Hayden, he has continued to make appearances in various prime-time shows.
