The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) has always admired Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) positive qualities, so he’s sung her praises on more than one occasion throughout their friendship.

Of course, Finn was also quick to offer up massages and relieve Hope’s headaches, so he constantly had his hands on Hope, too. Although Finn never expressed the desire to be anything other than friends, Hope clearly latched onto the idea of something more.

That’s why a tipsy Hope got caught up in the moment and planted a kiss on Finn at the Forrester party.

It’s also why Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) warned Hope to avoid crossing the line with Finn again or else Hope for the Future would be canceled.

However, we have to consider whether Finn’s actions might be inappropriate after watching him interact with Hope in the September 17 episode.

Finn could see that Hope was stressed, so he quizzed her and genuinely seemed like he wanted to help.

That alone feels like an issue since Steffy has been crystal clear about Finn needing to stay away from Hope.

Should Finn have just waited for his takeout in another part of the restaurant and avoided anything more than a quick greeting?

Finn is still a little miffed about the kiss and all the chaos it caused, but he’s clearly not holding any major grudge. Instead, Finn played up how much he’d like for Hope and Steffy to get along.

Finn went as far as calling both Steffy and Hope strong, accomplished and beautiful women.

Should Finn really be calling Hope “beautiful” under the circumstances?

It just seems like a bad idea for married Finn to tell Hope how pretty she is.

Finn’s constant compliments are a huge part of how he got into that whole kiss mess since Hope couldn’t help but become enamored with him.

It’s obvious that Finn’s heart belongs to Steffy alone – and he’s been adamant about his deep commitment to her.

Nevertheless, Finn’s forgiving side is getting him in trouble since he’s not the kind of guy to stay mad for long.

Now that Finn’s being complimentary toward Hope all over again, you could argue that he’s sending some mixed signals – at least from the perspective of someone like smitten Hope.

Our B&B predictions point to Hope struggling a bit more with all her Finn feelings, so stay tuned for updates on how that news will affect his marriage to Steffy.
