If Lucy goes missing, everyone might assume she has simply run away—especially with Heather Stevens wanting to relocate. But what if the truth is much darker, and Lucy is actually being held hostage by Sharon?

While Sharon focuses her anger on Daniel, Heather suggests taking Lucy away from Genoa City for a while, fearing that she is becoming too close to Faith. Lucy, feeling isolated, insists that her parents are trying to keep her from both Sharon and Faith, highlighting her strong attachment to both women.

The spoilers reveal that Faith delivers a harsh reality check to Lucy, making it clear that they can’t be friends in the way Lucy desires. She encourages Lucy to seek professional help, especially for her drinking, which leaves Lucy feeling devastated and in denial about her situation.

There’s a possibility that Lucy may be grappling with a condition such as borderline personality disorder (BPD), characterized by extreme emotional swings, self-sabotage, and an inflated sense of closeness in relationships. This could explain Lucy’s intense obsession with Faith, leading her to destructive behaviors.

Although Sharon claims not to blame Lucy, she might feel compelled to take extreme actions to protect Faith. There’s speculation that Cameron Kirsten, played by Lyon Ashby, may convince Sharon that Daniel can only understand the situation if he experiences the consequences firsthand.
